Breslin Student Events Center, Tom Izzo Hall of History (Gilbert Pavilion Entrance)

February 13, 2025, 1-4PM

Join the Center for Community Engaged Learning for Caring Through Service, an opportunity for community building, service, and advocacy. Spartans will come together to support mental health initiatives, create meaningful connections, and give back to the community.

Event Highlights:

  1. Essential Needs Kits – Assemble essential needs kits for Community Mental Health (CMH), addressing a critical need identified by our community partner.
  2. Wellness Kits & Friendship Bracelets – Create a Wellness Kit for yourself, a friend, or to donate to MSU Counseling & Psychiatric Services (CAPS). As part of the assembly, participate in a friendship bracelet activity to foster connection and creativity.
  3. Advocacy & Community Engagement – Learn valuable strategies for advocating on issues that matter to you and your community.

Food will be provided, including a mac and cheese bar, ice cream sandwiches, and more. Supportive and quiet spaces will also be open for participants who need them.

This is a free event open to all members of our Spartan community, and no pre-registration is required.
