Donating to schools plays a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the educational experience for all students.

With a continued need for new school supplies, our schools, teachers, parents, and students need our support more than ever before. This year all supplies will be purchased (based on each school district and non-profits need and quantity) and shipped directly to local school districts and non-profit organizations focused on youth mentorship and education.

Project Budget

Donations to the CCEL Fill the Bus Fund will be divided between our partners, MSU Student Parent Resource Center, The Lansing School District, and East Lansing Public Schools to purchase the supplies requested.

Just $20 is enough to provide notebooks and pencils for an entire class of students! There is no minimum amount required to donate and each donation will make a difference.

Examples Include:

  • $5 – 3 notebooks and a pack of pens & pencils for a student OR 5 notebooks or 10 packs of markers for the class
  • $10 – 20 packs of colored pencils
  • $20 – Much needed disposable masks and disinfectant wipes OR a kid’s backpack
  • $50 – A brand-new adult-sized backpack

Invest in an Equitable Future

Supporting schools contributes to building a more equitable future by preparing all students to become informed, skilled, and compassionate leaders in a diverse world. By investing in education, you help foster a community where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
