1. America Reads/Counts Tutor

Role Overview
As an America Reads/Counts Tutor, you will work directly with K-12 students to help them improve their reading and math skills. This is a chance to make a real difference by providing support that helps students succeed academically.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in classrooms
- Develop engaging lesson activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students
This role is perfect for anyone passionate about education and enjoys working with children.

- Experience in tutoring or working with youth is a plus but not required—training will be provided!

2. Register and attend the Fall 24 America Reads/Counts Orientation where you learn about the program and complete the necessary hiring paperwork
2. Civic Engagement Intern

As a Civic Engagement Intern, you will play a vital role in promoting civic engagement among your peers. You’ll help organize events, create communication materials, and drive initiatives that encourage student participation in civic processes.

- Develop and execute social media campaigns
- Coordinate voter registration drives
- Assist in planning events to promote civic awareness
This position is perfect for students interested in communications, marketing, public relations, or political science.
