CCEL is recuiting an AmeriCorps VISTA through Campus Compact for the 2026-2027 year! The VISTA member will play a key role in supporting tutoring and mentoring initiatives at Michigan State University through the America Reads/America Counts (ARAC) program. This position will focus on expanding access to quality tutoring services for K-12 students in the local community by strengthening partnerships, recruiting and training college student tutors, and developing sustainable program structures. The VISTA member will also help enhance mentoring opportunities, ensuring MSU student tutors receive the academic support and encouragement needed to succeed in their collegiate career.

The service term for this position will be July 13, 2026 - July 12, 2027, with an application deadline of May 26 to start on July 13. Positions are filled on a rolling basis. Please note that this start date is subject to change. Start dates are based on a federal calendar and are not flexible.
