Jordan Zammit is the Democratic Engagement Coordinator for MSUvote. A Michigan native, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Sciences from Michigan State University before serving as a Marine Corps Artillery Officer, where he led his Battalion's Equal Opportunity Program and commanded a security detachment that assisted in resettling Afghan refugees. Jordan recently completed his Master of Public Policy at the University of Michigan and served as a Detroit Mayoral Fellow, where he developed policies to reduce police brutality within the Detroit Police Department. Deeply committed to addressing economic inequality, Jordan is passionate about MSU’s mission to serve the local community and the state of Michigan while providing a world-class education to students from diverse economic backgrounds. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, reading, and studying history.
