Mia Thurman is a junior studying International Relations and Social Relations and Policy through James Madison College. She is a part of JMC Student Senate serving as the Community Service Network chair and  a member of Mock Trial and Delta Phi Epsilon, a professional foreign service sorority. Mia is extremely active in politics and community organizing, working on progressive political campaigns in Michigan to build futures that are more inclusive and united while serving the average citizen. In her free time, she loves to read, upcycle clothes, and work on undergraduate research on women's reproductive health in Malawi. To Mia, the most fulfilling part of living is caring deeply about people and leading by example.
