Bailey Griffin
African American and African Studies, Interdisciplinary Social Science
Bailey Griffin (she/her) was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a rising senior at Michigan State University (MSU), majoring in African American and African Studies and Interdisciplinary Social Science. At MSU, Bailey works as a consultant in the Writing Center. She is also a part of the Social Science Scholars program, a research-intensive undergraduate academic initiative. She has previously worked as a research assistant for enslaved.org and a teaching assistant for courses such as Women of Color Feminisms (WS 307) and Writing, Rhetoric, and American Culture (WRA 395). Bailey's campus involvement extends to her membership in the Elite Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Additionally, she is part of the Reeves Scholars Program 2024 Cohort, through which she recently traveled to Ghana for a study abroad experience. Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Bailey enjoys practicing yoga and watching reality TV shows. Her diverse interests and commitments reflect her passion for education, justice, and community.
