Aleida Contreras (she/her) is a sophomore studying Applied Engineering Sciences. She has been active in her community at MSU by getting involved in the Inclusive Campus Initiative advisory committee (ICI). She also serves on two Executive Boards--Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and on Women of Color in STEM (WOCSTEM)--and is a Transforming MSU playwright fellow. Aleida is serving with the Refugee Development Center in Lansing this scholar year.
