Mel Miles (she/they) is a senior from Fenton, Michigan majoring in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. She is minoring in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems and Leadership in Integrated Learning through the Bailey Scholars Program. They are also the Vice President of Environmental Studies and Sustainability United (ESSU), a professional development and social RSO for students majoring or minoring in ESS or interested in sustainability. After graduation, Mel wants to work with communities to create more localized and resilient food systems. In her free time, Mel likes to read, spend time outdoors, and going to small town coffee shops.
