Catherine Anger is the Communications, Marketing, and Events Program Assistant at the Center for Community Engaged Learning. A proud 2024 graduate of Michigan State University, Catherine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Information. During her time at MSU, she interned with the College of Nursing, where she developed communications strategies and visual media to engage the College’s alumni network. Catherine’s passion for community service, particularly in promoting equal access to essential resources such as food, housing, and education, has been a driving force in her work. Her involvement in programs like HC IMPACT, Alternative Spartan Breaks, and various local volunteer projects in East Lansing and beyond cultivated this commitment. Outside of her role at CCEL, Catherine enjoys creative writing, taking swing dance lessons, and contributing to local student and independent film projects.
