Jaela Young is the Student Success Program Assistant for the Center for Community Engaged Learning, where she is responsible for sustaining and co-creating programs to promote student engagement at MSU and in the community.

Before joining CCEL in 2023, Jaela served as a College Advisor for the MSU College Advising Corps and worked in various positions centered around student success and engagement after graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education- Learning Disabilities. Jaela is passionate about education and improving the college experience for students, especially those from historically marginalized groups.

In Jaela's free time, you may catch her listening to an audiobook, spending time with her family and friends, or volunteering in the surrounding community.
