Stephanie Brewer is an Academic Specialist with the Center for Community Engaged Learning and works with a team responsible for developing, supporting, and advancing community engaged learning at MSU. Stephanie supports faculty, students, and community partners in the creation and facilitation of these opportunities.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University. She is currently working toward her PhD in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University. Stephanie worked for ten years in the field of community development and mental health before making her way to the field of higher education. Her most recent position was with the Broad College of Business at MSU, and previously served as Coordinator of the University Fellows Experience with the Honors College at the University of Alabama. Through all of her work, she has focused on supporting individuals and communities while serving as an advocate for meaningful social change.
Stephanie loves to teach, work with students, and engage in her campus and local community. She and her husband Dave are proud of their two young boys who keep them on their toes at all times.
