Thanks for showing interest in our Community Engaged Learning Questionnaire!

Each year, the Office of the President requests that the Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) report on the number of students engaged in curricular service-learning, civic engagement, and volunteer activities. In the past the reported figures have been reflective of the activities registered in the CCEL's database. We are aware that there is significant work being done independent of the CCEL and that has not been recorded in our database.

The CCEL is committed to building relationships with all MSU units who are committed to community engaged teaching and learning, civic engagement, and student volunteerism. In addition to reporting the required information to the Office of President, we hope to gain a better understanding of the types of support resources academic units may desire to continue their work. We believe that recognizing campus efforts and reporting accomplishments are of the utmost importance. You will be able to enter multiple projects if needed.

In addition to fulfilling this campus-wide reporting requirement, the CCEL is working to develop an annual Community Engaged Learning Index. This report provides our campus with annual data by college and/or division, will be shared broadly, and will assist in determining what resources and supports the center may offer to sustain and advance this work in the future.

To have your work documented (or possibly featured) in next year's Index, please complete our survey. The survey for the next Index is not yet available, but this page will be updated with a link to it as soon as it goes live.
